Good afternoon 🙂
I seem to be switching rapidly between feeling ok and feeling rubbish, I awoke yesterday morning with a head full of wool (and not in a useful can use it for knitting sort of way) throughout a day full of sleeping, I managed to arrive at the evening with no wool, and a lack of energy and a tendency to overheat. Convinced I was on the mend, I headed off to Monday body pump.
As always, the squat track was the worst! Thanks to fantastic advice from Nancy (my year of sweat) I managed to do the track without my shoulders hurting :-D. I did however feel like I was about to pass out half way through the track…however, I often feel like this in the squat track…I think it is because it is first!
I made my way through the rest of the class, not giving up but I did stop to rest one or two times during the particularly hard bits. I couldn’t fight the feeling that I was using slightly more energy than I had.
Contrary to all sense, I actually felt much better after the class…on reflection it could have been a combination of adrenaline and relief. As I am still switching between hot and cold…I may have to concede that I have come down with something!
However…
Day 94 complete 🙂
First off – well done on a) getting your butt over to the gym and bodypump class, despite the way you felt. And second – TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF!!! Don’t let this blow into something bigger that threatens to get you off track from the 365 project!
Load yourself up with tons and tons of vitamins in the form of fruits and veggies! Drink loads of water. Get as much rest as you can. I wrote about it here: http://myyearofsweat.wordpress.com/2013/04/10/love-your-car-love-yourself/. Maybe something in that post will help you out too.
Fingers crossed that this is nothing more than a blip on the radar and that you’re back to normal soon!
xoxo nancy
p.s. I’m so glad the new position is helping your shoulders!!

Thank you 🙂 I have been eating plenty of fruit and veg and additional supplements!
I have been doing lots of resting, I genuinely thought I was better than I was when I went! I am not going to let anything out me off track 🙂

You are doing so well and well done for not giving up. I would have stayed in bed and not done anything. So well done on exercising and keeping at it.
