Extra: Unexpected effects of blogging

Good afternoon!

I have 90 followers!!

I know this is not a big milestone figure…I should maybe have waited until 100 followers to post this but I may never get to 100…but that is not the point! The point is, I never expected anyone to read my blog. I wrote it as if people would read it because I like writing, but it was mainly meant to be a record of the things I do this year for myself.

That and the more I publicised it the less chance I had of backing out!

But something odd and amazing has happened!

People are reading this!

People are commenting on this and supporting me in completely unexpected ways!

I never thought I would connect with people around the world who would be doing similar things and whose stories I would become so involved with. I never thought anyone would care what I was doing.

This is just a short post to acknowledge all of the people who follow my blog and every single comment and like means so much more than I can say! Β And to the people out there who comment regularlyΒ I want to thank you soΒ much for your support, I can’t tell you how pleased it makes me! πŸ˜€

yep it got soppy …sorry… but I am truly surprised and honored that there are some people in the world who are prepared to read about my crazy exploits and provide me with much appreciated support!

that is all…normal cynicism will be resumed shortly!

  1. I identify with every word of this post. Yay Sam. I’ll be crossing my fingers and toes that you get to 100 and then 200, and then… πŸ™‚ You’re writing is both inspirational and humorous, a winning combination in my books!
