Hello
Apologies for the lack of posts this week, I have been somewhat under the weather succumbing to winter bleugh-y-ness (yes that is a real thing). This does not mean I have given up on the exercise thing, I promise! I have been doing stuff against all odds (and occasionally against all good sense).
I will start with Tuesday, I was not up to much on Tuesday, so I did a home routine of bodyweight exercises and it wiped me out.

I started with a warm up on my mini stepper. I followed it with press ups. I decided that it was high time that I upped the difficulty of doing my press ups. I have been following the runtastic press ups app and was over half way through level two, doing sets of 16+ press ups, but I was still doing modified press ups on the same step that I started on a couple of months ago. So I moved down a step and started again.
I am back on level 1 but I am more than one step closer to doing real press ups properly. (I have tried real ones, on the ground, and I can nearly do a couple, but doing modified ones for now still allows me to progress sensibly.)
I supersetted my press ups with sets of 10 x static lunges per leg. I followed this with 3 sets of 10 squats. I then moved on to some Pilates core exercises and my physio exercises for my shoulder.
Not too bad for a sick Tuesday, day 172 complete π
Nice job listening to your body. You won’t get back to healthy if you push too hard while sick. Hope you’re starting to feel better.
