Ok…it is the end of April. It is time to let you all know how I did with my April resolution... you know the one I made, then altered when it wasn’t working…

Well…confession time…
As you might have guessed from the lack of me talking about it at all…
I have completely failed to get up and work out in the morning.
Apart from my PT which I have to get up for because I am meeting Matt, I have not managed a single early morning work out since I altered my plan.
I might have to accept that I am not a morning person…
I mainly completely failed at going to bed early, which lead me to not have enough sleep to get up early, which got into a vicious circle.
I still need more sleep, I still want to work out early because know it is really good for you and does all that metabolism boosting stuff…
But I haven’t yet come up with a way to make myself get up and be awake enough to work out! I have to get up 1.5hrs before my PT appointment to even consider being awake enough for it!
I promise to keep trying guys and let you know if I ever manage it!!
You beat me with the sorry-for-being-rubbish post by a day. Mine hits tomorrow. 😦
Oh well. Onward and upward!

Onward and upward indeed 🙂 I might just have to face my pandaness and workout in the evenings! 😀

I’m not good if I haven’t slept either. My body has now got used to waking up at 7 am but I can’t go for exercise before my son goes to school at 8 am. Fortunately, I don’t start work until 10 am so can go for a run or swim before work if I want to and I work from home 3 days a week.

That would be useful! I have to be at work by 8:30 so it is just too early!

Trying to get up even earlier more than one day a week is just silly then. I’d have to go to bed at 8.30 to be able to get up early enough to exercise and then get to work by 8.30 😉 I think I’d find another challenge for May. 🙂

The only thing that gets me up and going the at that time is the knowledge that someone is waiting in me to get there!
I am definitely going to find another challenge for May 🙂

I like the panda photo a lot. Perhaps too much. But that’s not what I dropped in to say. I dropped in to say ONE MONTH!!!!!

I love that panda! He is a perfect representation if me in the morning!
I know! I can’t believe it is so close to the end!!! 😀

Like I said to you before, I really think finding the time of day that works best for you is vital! I hate the evening sessions – some days after work I just want to go home and put on my PJs… I am definitely a morning person (nowadays anyway!) If you really really want to do morning workouts, maybe try switching in one day a week? Maybe Thursdays to make your week symmetrical (so to speak) since Tuesday is PT day (isn’t it?) Just a thought anyway 🙂

One day a week might be doable 🙂 I feel so much better during the day if I work out in the morning and I get an evening off which feels like a rest! 😉
