there’s only one way of life and that’s your, your own, that’s your own!!
ok…sorry…singing doesn’t translate into text that well…but it is possibly a better option than actually hearing me sing it…
Just in case you are not aware, this is a lyric from the song One Way by The Levellers, who are one of my favourite bands, and who I went to see on Friday…hence the singing 😀
Here is is…in case you want to know what they sound like: (it’s ok…I’ll get to the exercise soon I promise!)
this was their Glastonbury performance, which I believe was 1994…we are all somewhat older now…
so exercise…
The first thing I have to do is add to Thursday’s exercise tally…I completely forgot to mention, that on top of all that PT…I did some squats…
120 regular squats
60 close
60 wide
60 plie
Day 343: Friday
Friday’s exercise started at lunchtime, I knew I was not going to have time in the evening, and I was too sleepy (lazy) to get up and do any in the morning, so this left me with lunchtime!
So come lunchtime I dashed out for as long a run as I could manage 😀

which wasn’t that long as it turned out, but it was relatively quick (for me 🙂 )
I was aiming for the big loop, but had to cut the end off because I didn’t get changed quick enough and my lunchtime was rapidly ending.
However, I wasn;t too sad to end, as I had a pounding headache! I was hoping that a runaround in the fresh air would make it go away, it did, then it suddenly didn’t!
So considering the headache, I am very pleased with the pace of this run 😀
then there was the evening, when The Levellers happened! It wasn’t officially exercise, but I danced and jumped up and down a lot!! It was definitely active 🙂 and it looked like this:

no I was not drunk…
it was awesome fun, I jumped and bounced, and (literally) kicked people back into the mosh pit who got in my way 🙂
I also attracted a wide range of crazy people. from the teenager who was at his first gig and had a music exam on Monday (a nice enough chap) to the man who walked up shook my hand and went away, the man who poked my hip and said hi, gave me a thumbs up and went away all the way to the woman who seemed to have no control over her bottom at all!!
not in a smelly way…
in a dancey way…she wiggled it from side to side in a more enthusiastic way than is ever necessary, especially if it is in the opposite direction to the rest of your body. she kept hitting me with it…
anyway, there was dancing and music and….when I got home…
there were squats!
300 of them!
In a row!
I came very close to putting them off until Saturday, but in the end I just got them over with, at the foot of my bed, in my pyjamas!
Woohoo no more crazy squats!! I (although I suspect I will not stop doing them altogether…)
Day 343 Complete 😀
Dancing – even the informal kind, like at a concert, is great exercise! I counted my Lady Gaga (jan 2013) concert dancing as part of that day’s workout for sure! And I know I did it again with P!nk in Jan 2014!! 🙂
You look FABULOUS in your dress! why is the hat in your cleavage?? 🙂

Thank you 😀 I love that dress…but it is actually far too big now at the top!
which is partly why my hat is in my cleavage…my head was hot, and my friend graham said at least he could fold his up and put it in his pocket…I said jokingly I could put mine down my top…so, of course, I had to prove it!!
It didn’t stay there 😀

Dancing is definitely exercise, it’s quite bouncy (like Tigger) at events like that! And you look lovely in your dress (even if it is too big now!)
