And then there was walking…
And more walking…
20km of walking to be exact 😀
Today was the first training walk for our 100km Grand Union Challenge which is happening in June.
On a cold (2degree) morning we set out along yet another part of the downs link path this time starting at the coast. We walked 10.1km then we turned around and walked back.
It was actually much less hard than I thought it would be, I guess this fitness thing is actually paying off!!
20km, 4hours all in all not a bad show 🙂
(Ps…I know it says 19.89km…but I paused the app and forgot to turn it back on for about 500m I promise it was 20km we turned around at 10km 🙂 )

I remember my 20k/ 4 hr training walks for the beast cancer event. Mine were in the summer, so quite a bit warmer than 2 degrees! 🙂
And that’s breast, not beast. 🙂
It would have been nice if it was warmer! But actually not as bad as i thought it would be!!
Breast cancer is scary enough…beast cancer :-S
I thought how apropos my ‘beast’ type was, in retrospect…
