Janathon day 5: done

I sometimes wonder where I get my bright ideas from…

What ever possessed me to think that after 3days running followed by one day of walking 20km should be followed by another day of running?

(Note these are achy legs but they are not actually my legs)

It turned out to be a less than stellar idea but I did something and that is what counts 🙂

As it was the first day back at work after the Christmas holidays, I made the most of my lunchtime by going on a walk 🙂 this made me feel better and loosened my legs up!

This leg loosening (which is better than it sounds) lulled me into a false sense of security and caused me to go for a run after work.
Part way through this run I realised that I was engaged in a battle of wills with my legs (yes they have a will!!)
They were really too tight to be running so I cut my losses and stopped running at 3km and did some stretching instead!

It wasn’t the best day, but I did something at least 😀

    1. I have done all of those things 🙂 steetched at the end of the run (for once) had a hot bath and then foam rolled! All that is mwdt is to put on my ginger hot muscle rub stuff before i go to bed 🙂
