A gogyohka based on that feeling you get after a really good event…
The henge stands empty
Silent echoes fill the air
Ghostly clashes, softened stomps
Mayhem displaced by stillness
Until next year…
This was inspired by the end of the Bloodstone Rally, an amazing festival or Morris dancing, fun and laughter which I was at this weekend.
The campsite/rally base was filled with noises of fun and dancing from the start to the end of the rally. This is the feeling I had when I came back to collect my van after the dancing had finished. It was quiet but felt like I could still hear the echoes of the weekend lingering in the air.
It is also an example of a Gogyohka, a Japanese 5 line poem 🙂
This is great everybody read it now!
