Project (nearly fixed) Warrior Goddess Update

I am splint free!!

This is day two of splint free-ness and it is going well so far…

splint free feets!!

I have been for a walk both lunchtimes and I went a little further today than I did yesterday πŸ™‚

Slightly annoyingly, this is much less far than I could walk when I had my boot thing on… but I suppose that is because I am now using my muscles to support my leg. Just like a real human! The other thing I was not prepared for was how weak and tired my leg feels!!

In an attempt to remedy this and to get my ankle stronger found a set of NHS approved physiotherapy exercises online which I intend to do every day until I don’t feel like my foot will fall off if I try to move it about!

I am not quite up to full warrior goddess training strength yet, but I soon will be πŸ˜€ watch this space (as they say)

  1. Yay! The leg is free! I’m sure it will take a little time to regain it’s full Warrior Goddess super powers. It might be a bit soon to do that dusters-on-the-feet-around-the-kitchen exercise. I’m so pleased it is getting better!

Hehehe I can just imagine how terrified I’d be if I tried to do kitchen duster workouts!! I think non slippery things are probably in the offing for a while πŸ˜πŸ˜‚

    1. If I tried to reach a million steps I’d probably do my self some damage.
Ask yourself…would you want / be able to walk close to 20000 steps a day on a recently broken ankle? One that still hurts all the time?
