I decided that April would be for relaxing 😊
Well…
My style of relaxing anyway…
I did not give up doing lovely activities, I just did not go quite as crazy as I have been.
This was partly because I went on holiday for the last two weeks of April and wouldn’t actually be able to do a lot of the things I normally do. And partly because…
Ok no, if I am honest, it is entirely because of that.
Consequently I only signed up to walk 100 miles during April, which in the first two weeks felt like nothing compared to the 150 miles I did in March. I considered upping it to 125 part way through my holiday because I was ahead but I stuck to my first thought and kept it at 100 miles, just in case…
After all I was on a holiday when we were driving around a lot…
In retrospect I should have upped it as I did 141 miles without too much problem… we may have been driving a lot, but we were also camping and walking a lot…
Still…it gained me a medal…

The other thing I did to rest in April, was not go to work for over 2 weeks and go on a brilliant holiday in my camper van to Scotland the Outer Hebrides. It turns out this is an amazing way to relax and I should do it more often…
My work probably don’t agree…there is a reason why work places don’t give out unlimited holidays…
Anyway, it was an awesome holiday and it turned out to be exactly what I needed! The Outer Hebrides is absolutely beautiful! I got to do lots of walking up and down hills and along canals and all sorts so I was still pretty active. I just didn’t put pressure on myself to do too much else. Apart from visiting stuff and taking lots of lovely photos 😀
Great photos! And great mileage as well.

Thank you 😁
I was really pleased to manage that much with so much driving about!
