Project 44: day 17 Sam vs the viking press…

Once, long ago a valiant, sleepy warrior goddess challenged her greatest foe…

Miraculously, despite her lack of sleep and general feeling of Friday morning… she won!!

Ok I’ll stop taking about myself in the third person now and get on with it!

That is a fairly accurate rendition of what happened though… I decided that it was shoulders day and that I would take on the Viking press. During this process I got super enthusiastic and kept adding weight to it! I got up to 13.75kg plus the weight of the press which is (I think) 25 kg, which takes the total weight to 38.75kg which is absolutely a new Paddington!!

I ended up doing far more sets than I intended, but I was enthused when the first set with 10kg went up!!

Just for good measure I threw in 3 sets of neutral grip shoulder presses 😁

It ended up being a pretty good effort 😁

Yes…I had to stand on a plate to use the Viking press, a lot of things in my gym are designed for giants!

In other news I went for a walk and saw that the yellow phase of spring is underway 😁

Project 44 day 17 done!
