Project 44: Day 36 – This lunchtime dancing is becoming a habit…

I have no idea how I am going to keep this one up once I stop working from home, but dancing in the shed gym in my lunch break is becoming a habit, and I am loving it!

I have done it every day this week, I started on Monday,  I felt really rubbish in the morning, so I forced myself to go to the gym shed and do something during lunch. I randomly chose and old Shaun T workout from “Rockin’ Body” and it turned out to be quite a lot of fun! So I did the same on Tuesday and Wednesday, more or less randomly choosing from Rockin’ Body and Hip Hop Abs, both are fairly old and when Shaun T was new to fitness videos, but this doesn’t make them bad!

Yesterday (Wednesday) I chose a Hip Hop Abs workout called Fat Burning Cardio, it was the same as Tuesdays but I liked it and yesterday I got all the way through without being interrupted by an exciting weight plate delivery…

For many reasons I will not look like Shaun T…

I might never look like Shaun T, actually there is no might about it, I will never look like Shaun T but that’s ok…these dance programmes are keeping me amused and keeping my lunch breaks active while I am working from home!

And…of course as I have a shed gym, and free evenings, I made my way down to play with my new (to me) barbell some more 😀 Mark came with me which was good.

We decided to use the Barbel 52 cards For inspiration, they are the same as the cards I got for kettlebells, only with barbell exercises on. Yes, I know I can plan this stuff myself, but sometimes it is nice to not have to think too hard, and it makes me train things I don’t necessarily like…like Deadlifts to High row which feature in this workout. I discovered after 2 that these are hard and not something I would ordinarily pick. They seem good to do though as they train the explosive upward bit of the clean and press…and consequently the log press. It also lead to use testing the limits of the shed gym… the physical limits that is. We discovered that I can do overhead presses inside the shed, mark, however can’t. Good thing for me that I am short 😀 Mark had to use kettlebells instead, which because it is single armed, is always harder!

I have come to the conclusion that Mark likes going to the shed gym, it is just me forcing him to be photographed that he has a problem with 😀

That probably doesn’t mean I am going to stop! If I don’t put it on instagram and this blog how will I know it really happened!!
