Project Lockdown fitness: Day 35 Core blimey!
One of the things I had apparently forgotten during the last few years is how hard TRX pikes are.
After Monday’s madness and random crying, Tuesday was a day of extremely tired legs and low energy… well low energy by the evening anyway due (probably) in part to me deciding that despite how tired my legs were, I would do Insanity Max 30 Cardio Challenge during my lunchbreak!
I love insanity max 30! I think It is my favourite of the Shaun T workout programmes!!
This did mean, however that come the evening (after some yoga and a walk) when I was supposed to do my upper body workout, everything hurt and I could barely move…so I decided to postpone upper body and do a TRX core session… it was pretty effective…and hard!! I had totally forgotten how hard these things were!! I also realised that I have lost a lot of the core strength I used to have. I still seem to have a fair bit, but I used to have a lot!!
It was a good day and I was way less grumpy than Monday 😀
