Yesterday was Wednesday, and following in the grand tradition of Wednesdays that may have only existed in my head, I declared it cardio Wednesday.
Ok cardio plus some yoga Wednesday.
Well actually if you want to be strictly speaking, accurate about it, cardio, plus yoga and a walk Wednesday…
I finally, for the first time (I think) since I started my new job, actually got out for a lunchtime walk on a day when I was working from home! I headed down to the extremely familliar section of the downs link path near my house and walked for a little while. It was nice to get away from work and my desk and have fresh air. All of those things I knew really, but for some reason I have been ignoring them.
Same goes for yoga, I know a yoga break in the afternoon helps, yet I am always ignoring it… well not yesterday!
Last but, of course, by no means least yesterday was the aforementioned cardio, in the form of Shaun T’s Insanity Max 30 – Sweat Intervals. I love Max 30 I really do, and there is something about a Shaun T work out that makes you work as hard as you can even if you don’t think you feel like it, but honestly, every time I do these workouts for the first time in a while, I remember that Shaun T is temporarily trying to kill me! I really am out of practice, but as someone once said… The Only Way is Up…baby…
(yes I know it was Yazz and the Plastic Population, I am old enough to remember that!
