It’s the weekend, and you know what that means…
It means lifting up heavy things in the shed gym and putting it down again 😀
Well, actually it doesn’t always mean that, but this weekend that is what it meant!
Saturday was bench press day, for no reason other than I hadn’t done bench presses yet this week. I decided to throw in some rows as well and make it an upper body push pull session 😀
I am not quite back where I was this time last year, but I am getting there!
Sunday was deadlift day 😀
It wasn’t as good as I hoped, I had a wobble in the middle where I remembered something annoying, but I managed to pull back from just stopping and it was pretty alright in the end 😀
Apparently a lot of this lifting heavy stuff business is in your head!
I knew that really but this was a pretty clear reminder 🙂
So that was this weekend’s lifting 😀 But a warrior goddess cannot live by lifting alone (apparently) so I also went for a walk 😀
It wasn’t until I looked at the pictures that I realised I had colour coordinated my trousers with autumn!
